PROBLEM STATEMENT

Acquisition UX team has multiple designers working on multiple markets, making design and dev implementation consistency difficult to maintain. How may we create a process that helps both Design and Dev maintain design consistency.

Site audit and classification of existing content

I started the auditing process by taking existing site components, breaking them down to their core elements and classifying them for product and stakeholders to better understand what elements were needed to account for. Supported international market needs were also taken into account. Once the audit was complete and classified, the design challenge of creating components began.
Documentation and Handoff
Created documentation to help designers and stakeholders understand the usage of the design library. Specs and examples helped to reduce rework and clarified what deliverables were expected from each enterprise group.
Iteration and Market Testing
Design library continues to be tested by market and evolved to meet markets specific needs. New variations are tested and validated then get incorporated into final design library.

Final Component Library

Component library speeded up the process of new market rollouts and helped the team maintain design consistency between all supported markets.
